Jacobs Goes Into Administration

If you are in the habit of buying your photography equipment and/or supplies at Jacobs in the UK, then proceed with caution. The family-run retailer which has been in business since 1939 has gone into administration.

Eleven stores have already closed and the majority of the staff have now been made redundant. The Leicester branch will remain temporarily open, primarily to handle stock, but this too will eventually be closed.
